In 2009 Mr Chew was contracted by a 3rd party to overhaul and upgrade the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology’s security system, comprising of over 40,000 CCTV cameras, building security sensors and access control systems. The project was one of the biggest security overhauls in Victoria spanning over 400 buildings.

After the successful completion of this project, Mr Chew went on to oversee a further 19 security system projects for the same provider within Victoria.

Mr Chew also optimised value-chain delivery by developing and implementing a digital systems training manual for the 60 technicians and 120 installation contractors, increasing overall workflow productivity by 200x.
